BIO
I have a Bachelor in Fine Art from 2004, continued my education in massage therapy, disaster relief, direct social services and advocacy and combined these skills into a tattoo career starting in 2007.
I provide custom artistic as well as anatomical tattoo services. I am thrilled by the variety and complexity of the natural world and the objects of fascination and discovery that become precious to people over time. I can recreate masterworks, a family heirloom, a galactic scene of celestial bodies, your favorite garden blossom, or make a nipple in ink. I do full color projects in vibrant or muted color and black and grey tattoos.
All bodies are welcome and celebrated at Vital Ink Tattoo. Your body is exactly right and perfect and I am here to glorify, empower and adorn you exactly as you are. I am fat in a world constantly demanding that we shrink literally and figuratively. It is a satisfying rebellion to take up space with art on each body on its own terms. Determining for ourselves which places are worthy of witness, focus and appreciation is powerful.The space is designed to be wheelchair accessible, comfortable and private. I work with vegan inks, carbon reduction practices and work with all skin tones as well as specialize in integrating or covering up skin with scarring and have worked extensively with cancer survivors and gender affirming tattoos.
